Fairly new XT Rear mech - has slipped back and up to the point its come into contact with the cassette. Just taken it off to try to work out why its moved. The Fixing bolt that goes into the dropout/hanger has a small recess in it. It looks to me there was a spring washer that fitted into this recess - is this correct? or is the half cicle of a strand of metal i'm left with all there should be?
