what kind of time would you have to ride to get gold standard?

Depends on age group:

A, AB, B are female categories, C to G1 are men. Bronze isn't listed as it's everyone else who finishes (inside the time cut).

They have changed the timing for the last few years (this year for definite). Now the Glandon descent is time neutralised.

I can see why they do it, as even though it was neutralised this year I saw 2 big crashes on the first few corners. Personally though, I ignore my "official" time and go with my overall time. Not sure exactly if the standard times have changed because of this neutralised section, but it was about 8hrs for the full route, inc. Glandon descent.

It's a great event, massive with the dutch and attracts lots of very fast riders.
