A few pics from yesterday on the Q's, not that many as I was enjoying the riding too much and couldn't be bothered to take photos!

Nice post!
There must be enough pictures of bikes leaning against Bicknoller Post to fill a thread of its own.

That's a replacement for the old famous post? It never used to have the name on it.

Do you mind if i pick your brains Stu, i'm guessing youre a Quantocks regular, which climbs would you recommend other than Ladyboy edge.
Very limited knowledge with only one visit, but would like to fit a loop together that is all rideable.

Can't help you there mate, I've only been there once. 😯

I'm sure Dibbs or Knottie will be along to answer though.

do able climbs .....dog pound from holford green, holford combe into ladys combe or just walk some of ladys edge. Other do ables inc beacon hill, bicknoller combe(hard grind)or even riding up somerton combe.thats a bit dodgy weekends as its realy a downhill and used often. It is possible to avoid ladys edge and still get the mileage.

Dog Pound Lane is probably the only one of the ones knottie mentioned do able on a SS (by a human anyway), I supposed you could always fit a lower gear but wouldn't that be cheating? 🙂

Ramscombe's do-able for ordinary mortals if you take the fireroad dogleg and go left at the gate at the top to get to DWD. It's a bit of an arse if you keep straight ahead to Crowcombe Park Gate though!

Sheldona - how did you get the dog's ears to form the same shape as the tree in "Paddi Tree"?
Fab stuff!
