Just browsing through and the spec seems to stop at Tiagra, not that there's anything wrong with that. Can you confirm that there isn't an Ultegra or equivalent 47-57mm road caliper available?

I've got some Tektro deep drop calipers on a bike, and TBH I feel that the quality of pads in a major contributor, I usually fit either campag or shimano one piece pads.
The brakes themselves are "ok", they feel wooden when compared to the Campag veloce on my other bike, but comparable in stopping power overall. Have you looked at places like SJS cycles or Parkers International, they often have stuff like this in as more eclectic kit?

tried the tektro r538?the ones rivendell were/are pushing.
they're ok.but then I fitted the r650s and they're much better.
dunno if there's much difference between the r45os and the 650s.
like the brake levers-they seem similar/same from the tech docs.
you can find them cheaper than 35.try germany.
if not there's the velo orange ones.not tried them, seem a bit expensive.
