I have a lovely pair of 2020 Hunt 4 Season gravel wheel in use on my trusty old Arkose. They are QR as befits the bike, its a 2014 model and is the Trigger's Broom of bikes now. I'd like to convert the Hunt wheels to Thru axle to fit on my newer road bike. Ideally I'd be here posting an N+1 type post but space and funds are limited.
I have seen axle adapters on Hunt website, is everything straightforward or am I likely to need to increase the life insurance and tools beyond my capability?
Yup, the QR ones just pop (may involve the use of tools) out and the 100x12 & 142x12 adapters slip (apply a thin coating of grease to the male end) in.
Did this to use some spare wheels for my gravel/road bike with bigger tyres. No problems, very quick and straightforward

At some point I ought to buy the qr adapters for my old Hunt Aero Disc Light front (rear hub is dead) and my VEL 50RL pair, while I still have my qr '20 Voodoo Marasa (which has a Merlin Volaire rear wheel on it and bolt thru adapters in the spares box to fit my road bike in an emergency).
Have done the same with my 54's and it surprised me how easy it is.
