I have just installed my Stylo cranks & BB as per instructions, all seems ok but there is a gap on the Drive side between the small ring and bearing is this normal? What I mean is it does not sit flush as per shimano?

It is a 73mm shell and no spacers being used as per SRAM instructions!

Thanks

Most bb's are for 68 &73mm bb shell so you usually need one spacer on the drive side bb for 73mm shells. This would take up the gap you have.

Thats correct it does not sit tight like the shimano cranks. no spacers needed either as its a srqam bb like you stated.

Swede, sorry mate but SRAM say NO spacers on 73mm BB Shell.

Tony24, thanks just what I needed to hear....some guys over at MTBR say the same thing, i did try a spacer but the cranks would not spin!

Hmm will go look as have a set on the ss.
Edit, too tired to get off the sofa, will take your word for it. I didn't read my instructions and think I fitted a bb spacer and they spin perfectly. Oh well. All's good as long as yours spin ok.
