Is it worth the £170+P&P to get my 2008 RS dual air revelations pushed?
Need to replace motion control damper seal kit according to Stumpy Jon. They haven't been serviced in the year I've had them and probably not the 6 months before with the previous owner.

So I could either replace the seals myself and worry that I've not done it correctly or get TFTuned to do it. or get TFTuned to do it and get them to push the forks too.
Currently buying my first house and filling it with furniture/white goods. If that helps the cost situation...

It's a great mod on rockshox Motion Control forks.

Basically it adds a speed sensitive rebound damper, so they react quickly if you're hammering down a rocky descent but ddon't bounce all over the place during normal riding.

If they need a proper service anyhow (sounds like they do!) i'd go for it.

The push mod for Fox is completely different to that used in RockShox forks.

fox shox mostly (all?) already have a shimmed rebound damper already providing what the mod to RS MotionControl forks does.

yeah thanks neil (if you want tips on riding the borders track don't feel embarrassed in asking 😉 ), most of that thread is about the rear shocks and hasn't gone down as well as I had thought so that's why i'm asking it about forks.

coming round the end at cwmcarn back towards the finish down the rocky section, never feels like the suspension is recovering. soon my local route will be even more rocky and testing.

/edit - just seen that 2 hours ago a link was put up to a thread about pushed forks... off to read it!
