[Closed] Puncture-resistant CX tyre recommendations?

Does such a thing exist? My commute is 60% tarmac / 40% off-road (proper muddy off-camber stuff so I really do need tyres with a bit of tread on them) but thereís becoming a ridiculous amount of glass and debris on the roads around here. Three punctures in four days, and I still need to get home tonight 🙁

My current tyres (Conti Speed King 700x35) have only done around 1200km but I think they must be waaaaaay too soft because theyíre pretty much worn out already, which probably isnít helping my puncture rate. But I canít afford to buy new tyres every three monthsÖ

I fitted Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyres to the wifeís commuter, but sheís purely on tarmac. I havenít found anything similar for CX purposes. Does such a tyre exist?

Any suggestions welcomed 🙂

Cheers
Ally

I've used halo dual compound twin rails for commuting before and they seemed to resist punctures reasonably well. They are also reasonable off-road but not sure what they would be like on off camber stuff. I got them from Billy's Bikes.

i've been quite impressed with the puncture resistancenuss of schwalbe land cruisers - got them for the 3 peaks, they're quite quick rolling but have enough grip for most off roady stuff too

cheap as well, but a bit weighty, i guess you can't have everything!

Cheers folks

I've heard the land cruisers recommended elsewhere too (also for the 3 peaks) so think I'll give them a try. They might be more of a compromise off-road compared to the Conti's I've got on at the moment, but part of my off-road section is being destroyed with a tarmac path so i'll have less proper offroading soon anyway :-(.
