I always found that a thigh sized tubigrip running from just above the knee right up to top of leg helped.
Have you had it a lot then pedlad,hopefully I'll be ok for Sunday but I'll not ride till then.
A good physio.
When I played football yes. Sometimes seemed to sort out what felt a nasty one quite quickly.
When I did mine earlier this year, it was all black and blue and rested it and eased back into riding gradually. I bought a tight fitting thigh support, and it really helped. Measuring your thigh is helpful, so you can get one that only just fits. Tubi grip wasnt much cop, except to keep the leg warm post exercise.
I try and stretch as much as I can before a ride but quick jerking has probably pulled it somehow,it doesn't start hurting until I'm an hour into a ride so I don't think it's to serious.
