[#3450935]

So it's 4 weeks to go and we've had the weather to practice this weekend so I've racked over 100kms of snowy lovliness. No fatbikes or fat tyres were used in the making of this production and I didn't die. Nearly a foot deep at the top and I met a few XC skiers who thought I was mental - aye right.

Hmmm, it's amazing what you find in server cupboards but all the training doesn't seem to be paying off. Any heavier solo riders at the Puffer?

They're actually quite light, especially for steelies. HRH Liz gave them to me for working safely on aircraft. They were lighter and comfier than the proper shoes I was supposed to wear to and from work so I wore them all the time. Nae sole left in them so a sad day is just about upon us.
