Entered as a trio to start. All was well until my mate was given dates for a training course which meant he couldn't come. He was replaced however this time a hospital appointment and subsequent op led to call off number 2!
OK, the wife and I would just do it as a pair and whatsmore this time we'll take a caravan for a wee bit more comfort. A towbar was bought and fitted (ended up an arse of a job) and I went and mended a couple of things on the sis-in-law's caravan for going.
Mrs McGrew is now bedded with nasty chest infection and yesterday evening she informs me her car is due an MOT... Last week! That'll be the car with the towbar then!
And to round things off I'm lying here wide awake soooo much earlier than I wanted to be!
If nothing else I s'pose I've got my list of excuses drawn up early! Oh. I'll add hayfever from hell and prob the midgies too 😀
I'll be the pissed off looking fellow with the handlebar 'tache riding a Golden Willow.
