Posted as it's almost Puffertime and a course sit rep thread is noticeable by its absence...

I'm not up there this year, but know friends in a few categories so wondered what Thunder Snow was doing.

Is it a mud and slop, quartz laden drivetrain killer, driven snow drifts or a complete frozen glacier?

Any reports or pictures on the lead in to the race?

Epicyclo ... Scotroutes .. ?

Just bookmarking to see what needs adding to the packing list!

Snow today Rick but temperatures climbing again next week up to 7C I believe. Likely to drop down to -1C overnight, so neither one thing nor t'other. I'd say sloppy.

be interesting to see how this pans out if someone does a course check on the lead in to the event.

It would have to be on the Thursday or Friday to have any meaning.

And no, I'm not volunteering.
