Only just made it down to Puddletown Forest for the first time this year, managed to spend a few hours pottering about like the asthmatic gibbon that I seem to resemble these days.

Couldn't do 90% of the fun stuff though - the foresters have been in hacking bits down off the trees & dumping them in the areas with tree coverage. IMO, much of it looked deliberately placed to block off the singletrack runs between trees. ๐Ÿ™
Wasn't a morning wasted but still disappointing, not sure i'll bother going there again for some time, the fun bits were what made the drive there worth it!

if you follow other bikers there;s a few surprises there. Like the chute with a drop and the downhill runs.

I roughly know my way round (tho' not the trail names!), but most of the bits I enjoy were blocked off. Still, was good to get out & the uphills were useful for a bit of training

the chute/drop's gone, well, the run after it has (which was the best IMO) ๐Ÿ™
