I've just picked up a forme winster 1 for £160 including delivery.
It looks like they are selling pretty fast.
8 speed groupset and hydraulic disc brakes.
Should be perfect to replace my knackered 26" commuter.

Re the Forme link on eBay there’s a 20% off voucher showing so it’s £112, practically disposable.

Fillmore valves half price £25 for a pair
Highly recommend these - have them on 4 of our bikes now - but widely available for that sort of price (rrp is 35)

Wow, almost tempted to get one so I can not ride it instead of not riding my Boardman.

Question is do we think I can process a cycle to work voucher before they sell out...
Race Face Ambush knee pads are back in stock in XL and XXL if anyone fancied taking a size lottery purchase.
Like most people I had to return the ordered size L as they came up more like S\M.

That seems so good a deal, there must be a catch?! It looks are quite special, but then all of those suit-style ones are.
Also available in blue
That Dirt Suit is called Casual so I guess not that rufty tufty?
Reading up on it that suits sounds more suitable for motorbike use , breathability is rubbish resulting in boil in a bag .
Although that dirt suit does sound a bit bodily (in a jacket review, couldn't find a review of the suit) that's got to be worth a punt at that price.
Even if it is too hot I could always add some extra vent zips, or maybe cut the whole top off and turn it into some dungarees or something
Thinking about it might be ideal on the EBike.
New SportPursuit 10% off code : SP-1030-10
Brings the Dirt Suit above down to £34 + p&p
If Alpinestars had advertised that suit as 'All season ebike all in one suit' then I'm sure they'd had sold plenty more.
I'm tempted to buy one just to see what it is like.

Met full face helmets pretty cheap on there. Only Small in most colours, but was tempted by a blue which would come in under £100. Not sure I'd ever use it tho!
It may have been intended for moto riders initially?
So, perfect for you full-power eebers then, eh 😉
The alpine stars dirt suit goes up to 96.99 when trying to check out for me.
One of those question marks was supposed to be a smiley face !
@drdexx I just tried it again that's weird isn't it , so I guess I can expect an email from SP cancelling my order now then ?
Met Parachute has always been a moutain bike helmet as far as I know - description says " for Enduro and Trail riding: weighing in at just 700g, its lightweight and ventilation make it comfortable to wear on climbs and safe on descents" *shrug*
I never ride the eeb fast enough to fall off anyway 😀
Oh I see, he's talking bout the Alpine Stars thing
what about us half fatters ? ?
Let us know, if you get it.
I don't have either so I'm gonna refrain. Banging deal though.
Not due to arrive until the end of November so plenty of time for SP to scupper the deal .
Discounted Pivots
Are those Race face ambush knee pads bulky? Also is it right to size up?
Thanks.
Are those Race face ambush knee pads bulky? Also is it right to size up?
They're fairly bulky, the sizes were way off last time, you'd need to size up by at least one size but who knows what this batch will size like.
I have size L ambush pads so ordered size L, couldn't close them. Have just ordered XXL.
Did anyone order that £12 bearing tool kit from AliExpress? I did and received a plastic pipette today ahhaha. Oh and their shop has been closed down. Ah well the refund has been processed sent so nothing lost.
I ordered one and got sent a brush! Refund on its way.
I bought one from eBay for £20. It arrived and is actually pretty good.
@feed Sportpursuit also have less bulky knee pads in. The indy is lighter (Enduro). Fine for pedalling in. In fact I've been pedalling around all day in some. Then theres two other lighter ones still for trail and xc. One is called the covert, can't remember the name of the other one.
I bought the indy last time. Went off the raceface size chart, measured my knee area. Size chart said XL so I went XL and they fit perfectly. I'm very very happy with them so just ordered another pair for when these ones die
Plenty of IXS stuff at decent prices on SportPursuit.
I'd recommend the Trigger pants for under £40, but size up.
Their pads, jerseys etc. are top notch too.
My bearing kit turned up looking remarkably like a small hand polisher. Refund on its way...
looking remarkably like a small hand polisher
Could be a winner if you have small hands which are a bit dull.
