And on the subject of Blackline, a dryrobe for 27 quid https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/p/nukeproof-blackline-robe

Now OOS but these are excellent - bought them for the kids for Christmas when they were cheap (but not this cheap) in the sales then. Not greatly absorbant for drying yourself, but good enough to be a DRW. The DHB equivalents are on Wiggle reduced but not as cheap as the NP ones were: https://www.wiggle.com/search?query=DHB+robe

Also, excellent MTBing softshells @ £36 (I bought 2 yesterday for Mrs a11y and me when they were £48...):  https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/p/dhb-trail-mens-hooded-softshell-jacket

All worth a try.

I found I had to be logged in to my account for the codes to work.

It's a bit niche, but not often you see stuff on sale at 99.5% off:

https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/p/vitus-dominer-dh-chainstay-2016

What is the scrap metal value?

Gutted to miss the chance to become a DRW for £27, now watching the DHB ones for a price drop.

They're good for post-ride changing if you've just sold your van so can't change in the back anymore, I assume?

@a11y what size did you get for your 11yo and how tall are they?

Medium adult NP ones, kids are 157cm (decent fit with plenty of growing room) and 148cm (swamped by it, the 'short' sleeves come down to her wrists!). I assume the DHB ones are similar sizing.

Just ordered the Softshell jacket, decent price and code worked, and I had been looking for one for a while.

As above, potentially my last ever purchase from CRC who I’ve spent a fortune with over the years.  I wish the best for everyone who remains there, and those that have already been let go, and hope they do find alternate employment quickly.

End of an era.

If you are grabbing some Vitus and Nukeproof spares (Suspension parts and mech hangers) then I'd hurry up. A lot have gone out of stock since yesterday.

It's worth checking prices on both wiggle and CRC, some items are different

Yes, worth checking both. I found wiggle had cheaper prices but the discount codes worked on CRC.

Not as big a discount as some of the Chiggle items on here, but there are good deals to be had on some Castelli kit if they have your size - I got an Alpha ROS 2 Light jacket for £75.

(Italian sizing rules apply)

Just took the plunge with 2 x DHB dryrobes for the kids at £50 each. They're both just over 5' so hopefully the Adult M won't totally swamp them.

@A11y what is the sizing like? is it an off the bike style jacket?

IMO typical MTB sizing* - not too baggy, not too tight. I've got both DHB and NP equivalent, both XL, and DHB is a snugger cut which I prefer. Tried a large which is perfect in the body but too short in the arms for me.

Jacket

^^^ a11y is modelling the NP equivalent in size XL, at 187cm and 90kg and finds it a bit baggy

* definitely NOT Italian (or Swiss) sizing rules - my £61 Assos EQUIPE R HABU Winter Jacket S9 arrived this morning and is a nice snug fit on me in XXXL. That's three Xs in the sizing and I'm not a biffer!

Ordered a set of Hope pedals 2 days ago when they were showing as in stock, now showing as OOS and my order as still "processing".

Sad to see CRC go I guess I might be turning to my credit card for any refund though 😞

I'd hold out hope yet, I had an order that still said processing after it was delivered. And when they didn't have stock of an item they emailed and I had the refund in the bank the same day.

Same here. I'm not particularly attached to the Sentier frame though so if I bend a mech hanger it's a good excuse for a new frame 😉

Got a Brand X headset from CRC for a tenner to replace the terrible Acros one that came with the Sentier. Lasted ages on my other bike so hopefully the same for this one!

RT70 Rotors

Not quite xt, but Ribble has RT70 slx down to £11 each. Can’t link right now but sure you will find it

Finding the Wiggle sell off slightly surreal tbh. Meanwhile, Merlin currently has Fabric saddles at some pretty hefty discounts including Canadian and Californian flag-logoed ones and a highly attractive bright pink Cell Radius Elite for a tenner. Fortunately I am a dog of strong will power...

Don't worry, the mech hangers typically aren't Vitus specific, the Vitus Energie Evo / Substance / Vitesse Evo are a Fuji hanger that's used on loads of bikes and you can get them from various places.

Good to know, they're still refunding.  I'd already ordered a load of other bits in separate batches that had all turned up with no problem. Pedals would be the last items so I'll hold it hope for now 😋

I know I am not supposed to ask but I placed my Wiggle order of Fox helmet and shoes Monday 26 Feb and still only processing.

Has anyone placed an order on Monday and got any further ? Did it include the same as me?

Cheers

I put 2 orders in on Monday night. One turned up yesterday. The others still processing.

(Oddly, the one I placed last is the one I received)

I bet the remaining staff are swamped.
