@jamiebkc I paid shipping even though it said in my basket about free delivery. Something already sold out in the time before I checked out so I just sucked it up.
Likewise, £56 basket and £4 shipping added.
I managed to get through to them and the postage offer isn't applying to the sale.
There's 45-55% off a lot of Castelli shorts/tights @ Merlin Cycles. Reasonably good size availability.
Braemar Mountain Sports have a few items on sale - more on sale rails in the shops - at really rather good prices
I just bought Pattagucci down jacket at over 60% off...

Amazon seem reluctant to deliver this to Glasgow:
Philips Norelco BG1026/60, Bodygroom Series 1100, Showerproof Body Hair Trimmer and Groomer for Men https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B010XIGBUQ?psc=1&ref_=cm_sw_r_apin_ct_4F4S6TH3FS1BKHPWWD2K&language=en_US
Looks like MTB Riders has gone now, but have fulfilled all their orders. Looking back at their countdown clock on the sale feels rather bleak.
Tried to order on MTBRIDERS site Friday - hopeless. Chat messaged them - they never replied.

I might be inclined to cut them some slack.

It's the same price in Currys and they are offering a £75 bonus on any trade in. Even a rubbish phone comes in at £1 so £76 off, as long as it is working.

Gravel dropper post just arrived.
All the best for Greg in his future ventures.
SportPursuit have Giro Rincon shoes for £65. I have a pair for road riding and they are great.
spd-road, gravel, or racey mtb
Black, grey and greenish (but not at the same time)
Not a discount, but maybe useful for some to know. Asda bike accessories are now supplied by Decathlon. Inner tubes, sealant, lube, cleaners, lights, bits and bobs and fair prices. Gravelly sized tubes £3.99 etc
Orange clearing out some stuff, mostly not amazing but I ordered myself one of these:
https://www.orangebikes.com/shop/sale/bike_components/ethirteen_helix_r_cassette_9_50t_12spd
I got a slightly different helix cassette during lockdown when everything else was out of stock, with pretty low expectations but it's been really excellent. Awkward fitting but otherwise a really good cassette. Nobody ever bought one at RRP but this is a good price I think
Crazy prices deore M6120 4pot brakes on Alpkit eBay outlet. £90 pair and I got £8 off with a code. Mad.

Good discount, but for same money you can get a GX XG-1275 10-50t: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/145572692915 (seller accepted £100 offer plus the £8 postage)deore M6120 4pot brakes on Alpkit eBay outlet. £90 pair and I got £8 off with a code
Decent. I bought a pair last week but involved buying separates from Merlin and CRC then the faff of swapping over hoses as they were both euro-style, so this is a great deal.

That is a really good one, calipers alone sell for £50 each normally.
house of fraser has outlet20 code and it works on some 510s and many other brands,
Thanks for that - Trailcross XTs for £38 posted.

Same price also gets you Guide REs from Tredz (buying separately, oddly a set is more expensive). Choose you're preferred lever feel and win at life. I've just gone from Deores to the REs - both are great, although you could tell the REs have been on a shelf for a while (needed a quick bit of dot fluid round the pistons, now feel amazing).
Or with Manitou forks and a hydro brake for £199.
Those Mongi are outrageous tbf. You can't even buy the MRP chain device for that price.

How are the trailcross as normal everyday non biking shoes?
I used my trailcross for a week travelling a fortnight ago. I only had owned them a few days beforehand so minimal breaking in period, but I must have walked about 10 miles per day in them for a week, and wore them at least 15 hours per day and couldn't find any faults.
I hear that they aren't very waterproof (fortunately I haven't had to test that yet) but I sprayed them with water repellent spray and that shakes off a brief wave under a tap. They are nice and breathable though for those of us that get hot feet.
I was walking around St Mortitz and Alp Grum one day with a thin layer of snow and ice and was completely fine.
I wouldn't recommend them for driving however - they are super sticky and so do stick on the pedals a bit.
How are the trailcross as normal everyday non biking shoes?
I bought them as a commuter shoe I could wear to the office, don't find them that comfortably. Old 5:10 are way nicer to wear all day but don't look as smart. They feel like the old Shimano commuter / leisure shoes. Also a narrow enough fit so I had to size up.
Another Planet X 'one day' offer.....
Ti frame ✔️SRAM AXS✔️RS pike ✔️dropper✔️
All for £1499 seems an absolute bargain to me....
Cheers for the 510 Freerider link. I've fancied trying a pair of 510's for a while, but have hung onto my flat soled Shimano shoes as they're not quite dead yet. £30 for a new pair of 510's delivered to the door is a brilliant deal in my mind. This thread is a goldmine of bargains and good deals. Although it's costing me a small fortune, I'm absolutely loving it. Keep up the good work!
aaaaaaand that's me missed out on one of those... Dammit!
That on-one pricing is mental. Almost in “buy a gx axs groupset and get the rest of a decently specced bike AND titanium frame for free…” territory. Looks like large is out of stock but the rest are there.
The NS chromo frame is down to £120, please buy them so I'm not tempted to buy another:

NS frame is £99.99 for me.
... +£20 postage
Aha, cheeky CRC adding that.
How are people doing with their Evans 5.10 orders?
I ordered some Kestrel boas on 22 Jan, had confirmation then nothing since. Contacted them today by messenger, they quickly responded but just cancelled the order and gave me a £10 voucher. Would rather have some bargain shoes.
I wonder how many failed orders I can try until I find something in stock and get them free?
Try to Kestrel lace-up version, they arrived quickly here
