I think it's probably a good thing that the Izzo Uncaged is out of stock in my size.

My jeffsy is PF BB. 2019 model but same as current frame.
It's a doddle to change, takes the same time as unthreading one. Never made a single creak or noise.
Eats through bearings due to 30mm crank spindle, but that's not a fault of PF more the silly standard.
Wouldn't let it put you off 🙂

I had a capra with a press fit bb and it never made a creak. It's not something is factor into buying a bike personally. Wheels mfg thread together bbs are very nice option as well.

Has anyone any real world experience with YT in the UK with warranties and such. That Capra is a lot of bike at £3899 😉

Maybe we need a bike industry chaos discount thread?
Some very good discounts on Vitus frames here, and 29" reactor carbon frame for 1250...

I've dealt with the UK guys for warranty.
They were slow back for a cassette claim back I had back in 2021 but that was a parts shortage so they couldn't physically get it. Otherwise I've found them good. They answer the phone quick and reply to emails swiftly now.

They've always been helpful with any tech questions also.

They've usually got good stock of bike specific spares (rear axle recently which they sent over night, wasn't warranty though).

Also to add - https://m.pinkbike.com/news/yt-unveils-capra-and-decoy-mx-uncaged-9-models.html

Current capra is threaded BB anyway

Hmmm, I might have got an Izzo if I wasn't very happy with my current short-travel shred sled.

Will, this has solved both my question about which Barzos to get for my big bike to make it more trail-y, and which short travel fun frame.
It appears the answer was a completely new bike with Forekasters.

I really wish the stock wasn't so limited, but the Core 2 is still a solid deal IMHO. Just a shame they only have them in black!

Owned my 2019 Jeffsy for 3 years, awesome bike. Mine was a 29er, I put 160mm forks on it from the 150mm, and a coil rear shock - made it more 'enduro-lite' than trail.

It's a little out dated now with a 66 degree head angle but still a great bike. The only issue I had was it eating bottom brackets with the press fit 30mm cranks, I changed to 24mm cranks to sort this.

*Stealth ad...

There's an XXL Jeffsy frame still for sale in the classifieds, with a cane creek coil... 🤔
