FYI, just been emailed by mm
Uk os 50000 plus app, mapping, lifetime download
Cheers for that, have a 'copy' of MM for years and its my go to mapping software for routes etc.
I think I'll treat myself to a pukka lifetime version 🙁
Memory-Map OS Explorer can be used on up to 5 devices - Windows PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad or Android.
What does this mean?
Does it mean concurrent or ever?
Concurrent.
YOU ARE ALLOWED TO DO THE FOLLOWING:
- to load the Data into and use it on up to 2 PCs and 3 mobile devices;
- to migrate the Data from one device to another provided it is deleted from the original device;
- to make 1 copy of the Data for back-up purposes only in support of the permitted use;
- to make a reasonable number of A4 size paper copies of the Data using the Product's built in print facility for your own person
Would it afford me all the same features that my OS Premium Account does?

I think so, annoyingly I have just renewed my OS yearly subscription (£20) 🙁
so to me, this one for £35 for a lifetime is better value.
I have not used MM as on my Phone yet, but have used OS and that seems fine. I think the OS also gives you 1:25000, which this offer doesn't, but that's not a deal breaker for me.

Ah.. sounds better. I've already been stung twice by previous billing models and seem to now have maps in 2 different OS apps but I can never remember which one.
Would it afford me all the same features that my OS Premium Account does?
Not quite - OS maps has both 1:25K and 1:50K maps whereas the MM is 1:50K only.
The 1:25K is also available from MM, but costs £30 for an annnual sub and £100 for lifetime.
Looking at the options - "lifetime" doesn't include map updates - just future access to your (eventually out of date) map and the app.
I'm tempted, but put off by only 1:50K and not willing to pay £100 for 1:25K
