I just bought a set of these from the Halifax Aldi bargain bin.
Not lit them yet but for that money, with three year warranty, seems a bit of a bargain.

Are these lights any good? How do they compare to something like the solar storm?

The price in the case and the price at the till may be different if myexperience of the edge 25 is anything to go by. There also seems to be store or regional variance as well as people were getting them for £60 a couple of weeks before my store dropped their price.

I bought one of these but unfortunately, the saddle/head unit screw failed while putting on the elastic strap.
I've contacted Aldi and they can't do a warranty swop but if I return for a refund, they are in the summer sale for £27.99.
A very unscientific garden test did suggest they are plenty bright so I might risk another one.

It's online only but with free delivery.

Mine failed on my last night for second time. Battery and light just stopped working! Last time the bolt holding the bar clamp on failed. They are 'OK' brightness wise, very much the same as the eBay specials.

I didn't get as far as riding with mine, was just pulling the elastic over the front hook of the mount with a view to putting them on the bars.
Makes me think now, if they are unreliable then not really worth any decent price.
