This may be old news, but despite my affection for these posts when they are working, I have had to return mine to the shop today after only a handful of rides.
The stantion was scored, summmat to do with the bushings/bearings and the remote lever snapped in a weak and feeble thumb action kind of way.
In taking it back to the shop, I've been assured that I will get a proper fit for purpose 2010 updated model.
Now my point is this, I've noticed that on-line shops in the Uk are still selling the 2009 model (at about £180!) which I think is crazy given that these things won't last more than a few rides (even if they are slightly discounted).
So, looking forward to getting the 2010, updated model and I suggest you lot do too.
