Haven’t checked all the ones on sale but this seems a bargain for a decent specced hybrid/flat bar gravel

That looks surprisingly nice doesnt it, decent for a commuter. Colour scheme ripped off a Sonder Camino a couple of year ago!

I have the 2021 in black. Nice bike and strong brakes. Even handles offroad in the hills. RRP was 550.

I think you are right. Prices must have gone up a bit recently, but £1750 RRP for 2x10 Shimano GRX RX-400 and an alloy frame sounds expensive.

It's known as high-low pricing - inflate the RRP to show a larger discount later. Sell at the discounted rate because people filter by 'sale' or see the discounted stock first. Pinnacles are priced like a lot of other Sports Direct products.
