The pump track in Chopwell is now open, and it's chuffing mint.

DHR2 & Shorty 3C is a tiring combo, so don't do that.

It's in Chopwell village itself, rather than the woods/High Spen end.ย  If you knot the trails, head towards Frenchman/Flow but don't turn in - carry on to the exit of the woods, and turn right at the tarmac road.

If you don't know the trails, it's in Chopwell park - turn left after Marx Terrace, and the closest post code isย  NE17 7EH

Look forward to trying this out at weekend before the locals use it as a race track / bbq area/ dump. Seen the drone footage, it looks great. Not ridden chopwell in about 2 years!
Lived in the village for few years when moved to the North East - best description I heard was it has the inner city vibe in the country.

I've been about 6-7 times since it opened.ย  Every time, there has been loads of people, from little kids on balance bikes and knackered BMX's, to youths annoyingly good, to middle-aged dandy horse pilots.ย ย Still waiting on the bins and benches, and at some point floodlights on a timer switch.

No BBQ's yet, but has had Danny Hart a couple of times showing everyone how it's done.
