well if you have a right leg only or have knackered your right hand XTR crank it's a bargain, £130 for XTR drive side crank and rings.
my entire transmission, cassette, chain, shifters, cables, BB and cranks cost less than that!
cheapskate, barnes.
SFB strikes again.
Ok, so not cheap, but a bargain for someone maybe?? considered the cost of an XTR crankset these days I thought it was worth a mention!?
You will always be shot down by the tightwads...
"shot down by the tightwads"
they tend to throw rocks in my experience, they're cheaper than bullets...
love it uplink! no doubt the niche exists!
cheapskate, barnes.
why pay more for something which is going to spend its life covered in mud ?
because somethigns work better/last longer when covered in mud than others?
if it makes you happy to spend a little on this aspect of your hobby then fair play to you but it doesn't mean those that spend more are wrong either...
why pay more for something which is going to spend its life covered in mud ?
Why pay more for a DSLR,when a box brownie will do....???
😉
Uplink, where did you find that?
Why pay more for a DSLR,when a box brownie will do.
I don't think the comparison is apt. My DSLR is about 1000 times better than some clunky old film camera, and I know how to take advantage of the difference. With a bike, my meagre ability could not exploit the slight differences more expensive hardware might provide, and for that matter I actually enjoy the way a hardtail is harder to ride than full suss, as well as its lower maintenance.
I'm guessing it's cheaper than a set of replacement XTR rings
Edit: found it!
