Fantastic job Terrahawk!!
Out of interest was the helmet wearing in the recumbent for the telly, or were you actually racing wearing them? Just thinking they can't of helped on the temperature front.
Though I guess if you're sat in a pool of wee for 24 hours, that's probably least of your worries ๐Ÿ™‚

Very good. Entertaining with abit of drama .

why not drill holes in the seat?

With perfect conditions I wonder how far it would be possible to go ?

A great show

Did Jason use to be rock climber. I think he might of worked at Outside in Hathersage

Terrahawks response to potentially being killed to death by heat stroke: 'Oh, well, we don't want any of that' ๐Ÿ˜†

Well done to all involved!

Well that looked great. Unfortunately though I've been sat in a room full of shrieking women who've drank too much wine so didn't hear much of it.

Good show and fair play on the record looks like hell riding that thing soaked in piss for 24 hours!

Can't wait for next weeks one with pikes peak attempt.

I enjoyed that. The overly dramatic editing might have made some stuff a little too dramatic but knowing what it's like to ride for a long(ish) time my hat is doffed to you both, and to the team and your families who had to put up with the training. Well done!

Cracking hour of TV, one of the few shows that's worth enduring the adverts for! Loved the attitude and eventual achievement!

Are you not tempted to do it again on a cool quiet winters day?

Also hasn't moving the record from a conventional bike to a trike really opened the floodgates for other record attempts?

Best thing on TV in a long time, looked like 2 blokes just having a real good time!

Mike Burrows is a really nice bloke too.. only spoken to him on the phone and did a great job of fixing some carbon forks for me

How much of page 2 can I safely read here? I'm in a s****y hotel in Italy, so no proper telly and I don't want any spoilers

Great show. Well done to everyone concerned.

Me and the daughter enjoyed it.

Made up you broke the record too, even if you did both smell of piss at the end.

Interesting to note that the solo record on a regular TT bike is 541 miles!

Here are a couple of very impressive 24h records:

Alex Pattison (66), 371.140miles,
George Berwick (72) and Philip Jurczyk (68,) 362.611 miles.

Spin - what's even more interesting is that it wasn't really a tt bike - it's a mtb hybrid type thing with a triple chain set and v brakes. He mtb's, tours and sets tt records all on the same bike.

Andy wilkinson is a beast though - there's a six part interview with him on YouTube, proper interesting bloke.

I don't buy the modded welly for urine release concept.

Going by the lack of tea references I reckon it to be a prototype intravenous brew drip ๐Ÿ˜†

So what's the title of the sequel?

" Guy does Miles quickly"

Pals for life!

Great show ๐Ÿ™‚

E45 is methanol...or is it ethanol..? Anyway, it's what Guy's Volvo runs on.

You didn't really beat the tandem 24hr record though, did you? It's a new record for a two person HPV 24hr ride.

It's got two people, so it's a tandem.
