How do these compare to Freeriders? Only ever had Freeriders but my sole has just started to split so could do with some new shoes.
They have Freeriders too (£81)
I bought some. They are a lot bulkier than the free rider. Heavier as well. I had some of the originals and these look a bit better thought out in terms of not holding moisture like the previous sponge like construction! I really like the 'Canvas' model but it's a bit lightweight for rocky riding and I've smacked my toes too many times. The impact has a lot more protection - especially near the front so it's a good alternative for rocky days/bike parks etc.
Not ridden in these yet, but my old ones did get pretty hot as well.
I mentioned this in another 5:10 thread, I got the missus a pair of impact from Go Outdoors this week, then the next day got myself a pair too. Comfy and chunky.
