HUMP waterproofs £10 each at Freewheel until midnight Sunday.
I've not used them myself but they seem well-reviewed and a cheap commuting / backup option.

Nice! Ordered jacket and trousers to wear over my leathers on the motorbike and to keep in my campervan in case it starts peeing down
