Bought some and it arrived today.
I have some Rapha kit for my sins am am a XL tops and L bottoms in it. Good road fit in the classic stuff and spray on in thier Pro line. 33" waist, 43" Chest & 5'11"
I bought the Aussie Grit stuff in the same sizes as I would buy Rapha. It is a good mtb fit, slightly looser than road but not a lot.
It's really good quality. Would I buy at full price, maybe but at half price it is a bargain. The Flint shell jacket is pretty unbelievable for £50 (original rrp was £200) and the thermal gilet is good too.
Highlight are the shorts though - which is a surprise as it took a couple of beers and a few false starts for me to put them in the basket because even at half price they are not expensive. Flipping awesome though. I might buy a 2nd pair they are that good.
Sale still on and I need some shorts.......so I have the Flint Jersey and Thermal Gillet both in medium and the fit is snug but fine - wouldn't want any smaller though.

Urgh, I managed to resist when this was first posted a month ago. But didn't manage this time. Just bought a jacket and gilet. Very good prices for things I sort of don't really need.

I bought a medium gilet last month and have just bought the Ignite 2 in 1 shorts also in medium and they seem about right with a similar waist (if I lay them flat the waist measures about 41cm if you want to compare). They also have plenty of stretch in the straps.

The new lower prices are crazy low for some of the kit. Just bought a 2nd pair of the bib shorts. I'd buy another jersey too but not got my size in. The gilet(s), the biking waterproof and the gilets are incredible quality for the price.
The shorts with insert are £39 for men and £29 for women - used mine for couple of months and love them
The Flint performance jersey with merino insert is a really nice top too - only £11 for men and womens

Bugger, my Bike shell (which is now further reduced to £35) and Thermal Gilet (out of stock) have just turned up.
However the 2-1 Ignite Shorts are now £50.....
I bought a Medium Flint Jacket which looks great quality, but it's quite an athletic medium IMO. I tend to buy medium tops (I'm 6'1 / 75kg ish and prefer slim fit) but for this I'd think about sizing up if I was planning to wear a few layers underneath.

My last order came with a returns slip in the package. I'm not sure the no returns thing mentioned above is true.
Besides at these prices I'm pretty sure it's worth the risk?

I ordered a gilet the first time around and it was too small. I received a quick reply to an email enquiry enclosing a returns form. Larger size ordered and refund processed quickly on the one I sent back.
Light speed tee arrived earlier in the week. Love it. Great for running and riding. Normally a medium for Howies / Endura but followed their sizing and got the small.
Ordered the Flint mtb shorts this morning.

Large ordered, given severe lockdown weight gain, but I'm a 5'8 shortarse, so think these may end up going back. Waist size may be spot on though, we'll see. Wish I'd stuck a Light gilet in the basket too, as looked a nice bit of kit.
Damn you lot. Ignite bibs and some socks ordered. Tried to resist but I am addicted to a bargain. I have got the standard Ignite and only complaint is they do slip down a touch so problem hopefully solved with the bibs. It's lovely kit, wish I'd got in sooner to get a thermal gilet as the standard one is ace.
My lightweight Gilet, Flint jersey and Flint shorts all turned up this morning after ordering on Thursday!
I already have the jacket, ignite shorts and the thermal gilet (plus another Flint top!) which I bought in the 50% sale which was a great price already.Now its at Aldi price!
The thermal gilet is the best I've ever used and this new lightweight looks just as good. The shorts are great too and iff anything the flint shorts feel even more comfortable than the ignites - but I like bibs for any drop bar bike.
I'm 6ft, 32" waist, 39" chest and 75kg and all kit is a medium though the gilets run smaller than the rest and give a more roadie fit which I prefer.
Rats, should have got some medium bibs, the large just feel a tiny bit big.
But given that both sizes are now sold out, anyone want to take them off my hands? Just looking to recoup what I paid, think it was £52.50 posted.

Received my ignite bibs this morning.
Positives - side pocket is larger than the standard flint shorts so I can now fit my phone in. Mesh pockets on the rear look very useful. Not so good is the leg length is two inches longer so right down to the knee (I’m 6ft, size medium). And the material feels more crinkly and lighter weight than the shorts. Still represents great value though

How do the Flint shorts size up? Tried some Fox Defend (I think) in 34" and they were snug but not unbearable.
I'm a 34" waist in trousers and a large is perfect for me.

Any ladies tried their stuff? Thinking of buying a couple of bit for my mother’s birthday but as a couple of months away there is a mild risk with sizing. Just trying to equate their sizes to tradition 8/10/12/14 UK female sizing.

I haven't put them on again, but just measuring on kitchen table, the inseam of the outer short seems to be about 12.5", and the inner measures approx 6.5". I guess they're designed so the outer sits over your pads but the inner sits above?

I bought the bib Baggy shorts Excellent. My wife has the women’s shirt and jacket. Normal sizing top gear.
I placed an order last week that finally arrived today, from Saturday until late yesterday the tracking was showing “at Home Counties MC North” “ we expect to deliver your item today”
Arrived safely today but glad I read about their sizing!
The post office tracking for my order says "The sender has advised they’ve despatched your item to us." Been that way since very early Monday. The Aussie Grit tracking still says that they're getting it ready. No doubt had a spike in orders from their sale so maybe slowing things down. Benn spoiled by Merlin Cycles still getting orders out in a couple 9f days, and CRC have been fast on deliveries too over the past week or two
@Modchop - whats the view on the sizing then, now you received the item? Views suggest real world sizing, apart from the gilets that size a little smaller?
