Whatever.

Payed with Paypal so easy enough to get the money back if it doesn't arrive.

I've ordered from them loads, mainly without issue. Got the wrong headset cup once, was sorted quickly without hassle. I did give up waiting for a OneUp seatpost recently, after a couple of weeks delay, but they were ut of stock everywhere at the time.

I'd use Paypal a credit card but otherwise not worry - they're still trading and if it shows as in stock they ship quickly.

I ordered a headset from them on 15th November showing in stock 6 days later hear nothing not been dispatched. Emailed them today asking where it is, no response. Not looking good!

Their assets were available on IP Bid, which is a site for selling assets of insolvent businesses. I understand it's actually because a partner wants out though, so yes, looking to sell as a going concern.

I'd have no qualms whatsoever about buying from them, I hope they do continue trading, nice stuff.

They're Facebook page seems to suggest you have to be signed up to their newsletter and signed in.

Just looked at their t&c’s and it says not applicable for products already discounted which was the case last year. I was quite surprised earlier when it said everything was included. Wouldn’t be surprised if they’re quickly changing things around to just include full price items and that’s why it’s not working anymore

I am looking at a non discounted item and it isn’t working either. Those t’s and c’s are fair enough, even if they aren’t particularly clear!

They must have cottoned on as the code worked earlier when I added a set of reduced wheels to the basket

Ordered a stem on Sunday night, delivered today. £20 cheaper than the usual online shops. Didn’t know there were potential issues

You sure you're putting the right code in?

First time I tried copy and paste it put MEMBERBLACKFRIDAY18VIP into the box which doesn't work.

Changed it to BLACKFRIDAY18VIP and it works.

Well the original code and the one that shows on their homepage is BLACKFRIDAY18 but I’ve just tried BLACKFRIDAY18VIP and that works

So yeah, the original code is now not working on anything, the VIP works on discounted stuff and everything* else.

OK, maybe not everything, but...

Out of interest, if I used a credit card as funding source via a paypal payment, would I be covered by the s75 rules or would that only count if it was done as a credit card payment directly?

Cheers! Got a 12-25 cassette for my road bike to use on the turbo when on zwift. If my previous orders are anything to go by it should arrive in the next 3 months. Id always recommend that people pay by credit card with UBYK.

I ordered some Praxis cranks from them last week which were showing as in stock. I then received an email earlier this week to say that they apologise for the delay in shipping the order as they are busy working through a backlog of orders.

I called them yesterday and they told me that they would be sending them out at the end of the week.

We shall see...... Bloody annoying though as the completion of my new build is now down to the arrival of the cranks, as i have everything else... should have just bought the XT ones.

I ordered this morning and sent a quick email to see how long it would take, this is their response:

Thank you for the e-mail, and of course for your order.
This should leave us on Monday, to hopefully then be with you on Tuesday.
As soon as it does we will then send you an e-mail to let you know that it is on its way to you.

Was showing in stock but that makes me think they are ordering stuff in first.

that is not uncommon and is how much internet retailer work (how often have you bought something from an online retailer to find that it is sent to you directly from the distributor), but it all depends on whether the distributor is happy to maintain the credit agreement with the retailer.
