Hi all,

sick of having chunks taken out of my legs from my DMR Vault pedals and also scrapes on my arms from brambles etc so now looking to purchase some protection.

Ideally looking for something light and comfortable, I'm not a racer or anything just riding singletrack/drops/jumps in the forest.

Would be grateful for any recommendations!

Clipless pedal to replace the DMR's, no more leg scar's - one of my better decisions.
MTFU on the bramble front, this is mtb-ing wear your trail scars with pride. ๐Ÿ˜‰
I did love working in an office with short sleeve shirts, pity shorts were never allowed.

5:10 shoes or some more grippy pedals , long sleeves or MTFU for the brambles.

Or sell up and buy a road bike ๐Ÿ˜‰

661 do a shin guard that's good saying that a lot of it is to do with you're foot position on the pedal with flats a trip to see Jedi sorted my flat pedal problems among other things!

661 Veggie shin guards but a cheaper alternative for you particular problem might be some cheap football type shinguards or similar. I find a long sleeve top makes enough difference with nettles etc.
