A few more details here about the full suspension bike from the Andorran hardtail guys: https://www.pinkbike.com/news/production-prive-steel-full-suspension-bike-taipei-cycle-show.html

I quite like it but the weight (14.8kg full build) seems a bit much, shame they've not put any kind of geo details on for sizing.

Looks very nice to my eyes.
I'm a sucker for straight tubes.
Weight may be a problem, as well as single-pivot, but would have to ride to decide.

Would probably be quite sensible weight wise with some normal wheels & tyres on it. Those things look like they weigh a ton 😕

Don't normally swoon over bikes, but this one seems mightily nice.

Bare frame with no shock is 3.8kg - that's 8.3 lbs

For comparison, an alloy Tranition Scout is 7.28 lbs with shock, so the steel penalty is about a pound and a half, maybe less if you compare to a slightly more burly bike than the Scout, add another pound if you're comparing to the carbon version. Not the end of the world.

Curious about geo, the Shan is very short which always put me off..

I'd give it houseroom - the weight's not a lot more than my Liteville 301, although that does have 170mm coil Marzocchis, I suppose...
Nice anyway!

To be clear. I wouldn't rule it out based on weight. But I would rule it out based on weight for taking a punt on one unridden for 1900euros 🙂

I can't quite tell what I think about the dual-yellow colour scheme either. None of the photos make it clear, so would like to see one in the flesh.

I think if I wanted another full sus and narrowed it down to wanting something steel I'd be going for the (less expensive?) Starling over the PP.

It's lovely and I'm biased as I own a Shan AND an Oka, but I'll be sticking with my Rocket I think....

Ho-lee sheet.

I want. When I get another FS bike, there's a solid chance it will be that.

It's perfect, I love that the main pivot is a PF BB, genius.

Best start saving, and hope they do one with a cheaper shock.

Price is around the £1650 mark, so similar in price to Cotic Rocket, Orange 5, SC Bronson etc.

Starling Swoop is £1850 for a frame.

It is a bit weighty but the build on the pinkbike link is running 2.8 tyres I think so they'll add a bit on weight wise. I quite like that it can run up to 2.8 tyres.

For comparison my Airdrop Edit weighs a little over 31lbs

It's a stunning looking bike. Geometry is here

Cheers Furious geo looks pretty good actually, not as short as their hardtails. If it will take 29 wheels then it's even more tempting

I's a pound heavier than a Rocket, for what that's worth - rocket has some allow bits though.

480 on the large is decent reach. 1899 is a "special price" according to Dirt, probably goes up after the first 50

Looks fun, but they've misspelled "banana yellow" on that Dirt piece.

Geometry very similar to the Process 153. Weight probably similar too.

Looks really good compared to those pics that appeared a while ago.

And they haven't asked Superdry Dad back to do the paint scheme.

Production Privee really like their cars and associated paint jobs.

It's named after this one:
