Need some new bearings in the rear hub..

Is it worth buying the proper hope parts (ukbikestore) or just big standard bearing factors jobbies?

Where do you buy yours?

Sockets of appropriate size (22mm-ish, one deep), a poking thing, and a course grade hammer.

Oh yeah... One of mine has Kaesae's bearings in it, they're certainly no worse than many and might be better than most.

Lbs sourced bearing shop ones the last time. Bearing shop next time.

Careful with the sockets. The proper tools make it easier -see crc under hub spares

If you are going to be doing it regularly/have more than one set of hubs/have mates who might want to borrow them, then the set of tools certainly makes it a nice easy job.

I got Koyo bearings in mine and they seem to be lasting well. as I been testing/trying them before fitting to other hubs.

I would buy Hope bearings, as I do think they good vaule and good bearings.

Ebay
Check the sizes (these might/ might not be the ones)
6802 2of 24 x 15 x 5 mm
6903 2of 30 x 17 x 7 mm
6902 1of 30 x 17 x 12 mm

Just put eg 6802 bearing in search in ebay or 15 24 5

Just replaced mine with stainless steel versions from Bearing Options. Fitted no problem.
