To go on the pretty commuter, and to go with the pretty bag, we need a pretty bell.

I like this one but can't seem to find it anywhere over here. Surely there's some fixie nichester place that sells pretty bells?

That's lovely! I've never seen anything like that in the UK.

At one stage, I had a cheap and cheerful ping bell, I roughened up the plastic biton top and painted a Mint Sauce style daisy on it with acrylics and gave it a few coats of varnish. That stayed on beautifully for ages, as you hardly ever scuff a bell.

I think thats a pretty damn sweet bell. Its only $19 so you might as well get it from the states as it will not get any import duty.

There's a chain of shops called Octopus that sell cool gifty type things and they do bells like that (not exactly the same one but same idea). My girlfriend got a nice flowery one for her bike! Have a look for one near you, I've seen them in most major towns I've been to.
