Just been for my first ride on my 2010 COMMENCAL Meta6 after unsuccessfully trying to sell it. And guess what?

I ****ing loved it. It didn't crack, I amn't in BGH with a broken face after a weld gave way. The rear mech was giving me gyp all day, but that was my fault.

Still climbed like buggery, and when we were pointing down it was, as I believe the phrase goes, the shizzle. So although I've been through the wringer in terms of frames cracking, each time I ride the thing that no longer becomes a concern. Great Bike to ride, great bike to look at{IMO} so it's all gravy. Still think 6 inch travel will be too much now I have big DH bike but when it's this much fun I don't care.

To celebrate I'm going to do something I swore I'd never do. Use a 😀

PS oh and I found a pair of riding glasses I thought I'd lost too. Nice.
