After chatting via email with a bike company for a while I put down a £100 pre-order payment on a frame. The payment was a direct transfer from bank account to bank account and naturally I've asked for confirmation that the payment's been received. They seem quite happy to give component sizes and various info. but I can't seem to get an answer as to whether my payment has turned up in their account. I can get a bit impatient and perhaps I'm expecting to quick a response but the payment went in a week ago and I'd like to know that it'd reached them.
They seem a company with a good reputation and quite a small outfit so I'll wait a while longer, but how long should I wait before I start to get worried?
About now I would say, a week is long enough in my books!
