...following on from banjohackers thread on powder coating in Sussex...
I bought a frame off the forums which is great, but a bit tatty.
I've tried patching up the chips and scrapes with car paint repair set but let's just say that the results look less than professional.
It's not a posh frame (Sanderson Breath) but if the price is right I'd like to get it powder coated and restore it to its former glory.
Has anyone had any powder coating done in Leicestershire?
I've had a couple of quotes ranging from £25 (+ VAT) for powdercoating only to £80 to blast and powdercoat.
Windridge in Kent look massively capable but it would cost more than the frame is worth!

i used a place just off the welford road and the finish wasnt all that and a bag of potato chips. im sure if i'd moaned they would have done it again but its only a winter hack frame so wasnt that bothered. can find the name if you want it. there is supposed to be a good one in wigston too but i dont know which one.
