Don't know if anyone has thought about getting one of these:

but thought I'd stick this up on youtube as an example.

Thoughts on the camera - it looks basic, and is a bit of a fiddle to work and set up - it'll switch over to stills if you're not careful. You'll need a bigger memory car if you want to take more than about 30 minutes of footage.

It works well with a chest mount (though it does look like you're sporting one of those gun bras).

image quality is smooth, and the camera itelf is compact and looks tough - I like the waterproof case, meaning it'll hopedfully serve kitesurfing duties too.

Overall, I'm quite happy with it, planning on getting lots more footage and seeing how it handles night riding!

It must take a lot of practise though to make sure you've always got a strap swinging in front of the lens! I think the helmet mounting is always going to give you a steadier shot as well as the option to film more than your front wheel.

The helmet mount seems to flatten everything out. I'm more tempted by a bar mount I think.
