Had mine done last week, £45. take it to them with all paint on, they will grit blast and coat. I put masking tape over canti boss and cardboard down headtube /seattube and an old set of BB cups in. They removed all this tape and put heat resistant tape on!. I did a 93 S-works steel frame. Be aware they will take a little of the metal away too. My frame was an absolute state - rust everywhere, I had to fill a tiny hole with metal eppoxy on the rear stay near the BB where the very thin metal/rust had been blasted through. I did expect this might happen due to state of frame/age/lightness
I used square taper BB so no issues of refacing, but did scrape away plastic from headset and lightly sanded before installing cups.

In fact the most useful thing I can do is post the old BB cups to you (they are nicely covered in white plastic powder coat) all I ask is that you post them back, I might use them again at some point. They worked a treat. If you have a knackered set of BB cups (quite likely) them use them.

do the paint stripping yourself, would you trust a frame that you'd had to fill holes in?

Issues- Mine weighed nearly a 1/4lb more than the oe paint.

Lovely to have an individual colour choice though.

Make sure they don't blast paint off an alloy frame otherwise the chances of them going through the metal is hugely increased. Mine was chemically dipped...

Second the chemical dip. I had mine done that way too. I used bolts and washers to cover up the pivot faces on my Turner Burner. Worked a treat. £80 tho!!
