Can you guys recomend a good post ride recovery drink as im always eating crap after a run
Full fat milk.
skimmed milk - all the goodness of full fat without the lard
I have won heaps of the Torq recovery stuff in races over the years, works quite well actually gets something in your stomach - and I used to have loads of trouble eating after hard efforts. It stays down and isn;t too fatty, I think I would def puke just looking at full fat milk but we are all different.
skimmed or semi skimmed milk as above and a banana work for me, or if there is one in the fridge a frijj milkshake

Are recovery drinks mainly protein based? I've got torq energy which I'm guessing is more sugar based?
milkshake (with banana and other goodies).
+ clif protein bar if a big ride.
Choccy milk
and lots of water
beer
Hot tea or Beer!
Marstons oyster stout works for me
