I was there - raced the 2 hour old man cat. Didn’t know anyone went in the canal though! That sounds pretty bad given the temp? What a superb course it was, and absolutely ‘brass monkeys’ cold!

I was there for the 3 hour, I saw the same on the facebook page. Didn't see any sign of it at the time. Hope he is ok, thats not good when it is this cold.

It did get more slippery as the race went on (was it just me?). Like the frozen mud and roots got polished by each little slide.

Another lovely race though :-). Gorrick is brilliant.

It was a great course, although I'd agree that it got more slippery with time. I thought I saw master dabber from stw there, but maybe I was mistaken.

Not me I'm sorry to say. Our son is has moved up to Forest of Dean area and isn't coming down for most of the Gorrick races now.  I would have come over but wimped out due to the cold weather.  I am due to help the Gorrick folk later this week over at Highlands Farm (A51) to do a bit of maintenance work,  Just hope things warm up a bit though.
