Hey guy's, just looking into some revelations and have found the 09 426 rev's in black with pop lock. I understand this is a lever actuated lock out? Just wondering if it's actually any good and if i didn't want to run it can i still lock out the forks by turning the blue adjuster by hand (just like my old rebas)?

If it;s like my reba's, (with poplock), then you need to disable to spring in the fork leg to use it without the lever, as the dial is set to spring back and won't stay on lock. The alternative to this bodge is a new dial and bits from rockshox, which I understand are expensive.

I'm going to stick with the remote lever until it breaks. a search on here will reveal how to do the bodge spring disabling.

can anyone else give me some more info on the pop lock? Don't seem to be able to find any 09 revelations with qr with just the normal motion control & lock out.

it's possible that perticular combination isn't available - there are so many combinations now - lock out, pop-lock, coil, solo air, dual air, u-turn, maxle, qr.

i started out with a switch on the forks. i found after a couple months riding i was getting really sick of having to lean down to my forks mid-ride every time i wanted to lock the forks. so for my next set of forks i got the remote, and i absolutely love it! it sounds like a silly little thing, but it really made a difference for me. sort of the difference between downtube-mounted gear shifters and ones on your handlebar, right next to your finger. so convinient.
