I've just stripped down my original Zaskar to put a new BB in and generally clean it up.
It's looking a bit unloved at the moment so was thinking if giving it a polish.
If I do this, how long will it stay looking good?
Is there a home brey laquer I can apply?
Or a good place to get this done near Edinburgh??

I wouldn't lacquer the frame after you have polished it because you'll find that it will milk up under the lacquer later on so your better of keeping it bare Aluminium and using Autosol from time to time to keep it polished!

I'd recommend the guys at http://www.argoscycles.com/
They do a great job at repainting and restoring old beauties.
