I hope you're right!

I've just bought some DogWood Designs ones for the Puffer (there seems to be a rule that the amount of rain at races is inversely proportional to the amount I spend on suitable gear so I'm hoping for a dry one!)

@matt_outandabout I resorted to a second hand pair of 45nrth boots.

Very expensive (new) but toasty feet all dayย

Oh, hand muffs! Had them on a motorbike 40 years ago.
edit: American term no doubt, hand muffs is betterer.

American term no doubt,

Well, I've seen a claim that the name pogies originated in the US, but 60-odd years ago, as a child in Edinburgh, we wore "pockies" - mittens. I don't know when that fell out of favour but I think there must be some crossover.
