I've got a Hope AM SP4 4 bolt disc rear hub in a Norco torrent frame.
The disc is 180mm and the caliper is IS held on with a +20mm hope adaptor, which i assumed is what would work out correctly.
But it doesn't ๐Ÿ˜ฅ
With the adaptor fitted the pads only bite with about half there depth onto the disc.
Remove the adaptor and the caliper doesn't fit at all.
So i assume i need something somewhere in between, but what, if anything is available?
Ta.

Depending on the year, it used Avid 160 rears so 180 should work with a +20 mm adaptor. This is where a picture of the set up may help. Is the +20 an IS to IS? Or have you tired to do away Avid adaptor at the same time? If so, this could be the problem.

That's why I asked, XC4 use a different sized disc to the modern stuff, No.3 on the rear was for a 165 rotor if I remember correctly.Think my mate may even have a pair tucked in his box of spares, will ask tonight if you're interested.

Thanks for the offer Coatesy.
My disc is a rather unusual 4 bolt item, a right pig to get hold of.
I'm halfway between Swansea and Cardiff.
Anyway..fixed it now. Please don't ask what i'd done wrong its far too embaressing

You have to tell us if it's an easy fix or very silly. It's the rules of forum help.
