Going up next weekend for the Monster Demo, need somewhere to stay the night before. Who's got a good b&b etc they would recommend?

I've stayed here in the past.

Really friendly place and they did have bike storage, not sure if they still do as I've not been there in a while. Good access to a couple of bars and it's only a few miles drive/cycle to Laggan.

Pottery Bunkhouse - a good place about 5 minutes drive down the road...the lady owner is a mentalist though - whilst we were staying there she was in a leopard print bikini with matching wellies! They have a hot tub on-site and it's excellent but watch how much cleaner the owner puts in...took the skin off most of us when we were there.

If you don't need to speak with the lady owner it's a cracking place to stay, plenty room, warm and good cooking facilities...was also quite cheap. Can't find contact details for it just now and I can't google just now...

The lady would be described as a character rather than someone to avoid, she seemed ok to talk to, but initial dress 'code' made me slightly concerned until we got chatting!

+1 for the Rumblie - mention you're riding Laggan and he'll give you a discount. 5 min ride along the road.
