I was attempting to clean my pistons on my deore lx brakes as one seemed to be stuck. Stupidly and not uncommon I guess i pulled the lever too many times so the piston slightly came out and a bit of fluid too, i managed to get the piston back in ok but will this have compromised the brakes in anyway? i will probably bleed the brakes but not sure if there is anything delicate behind the piston that may have been compromised by the piston falling out.

Nothing to damage but it will need bleeding.

...and a pretty thorough clean to avoid getting the pads contaminated on re-assembly
