just been trawling the web looking for something new.
bog standard 29er this time. 3x, with a air fork, hopefully not too hefty.
plenty of choice, but when you start to look at the spec lists, which I never have because I have always self built, some brands don't like to give you much for your money.
the one that does, however pinnacle. they seem very good vfm spec wise.
anyone got one? they keep grbbing my interest.
I asked about the Ramin one a while ago Ton and the thread keeps getting updated with other peoples Ramins.

Hope that will help, they seem to be pretty positive about them.
Had a Pinnacle Arkose, great bike.
Aye, Pinnacle are great. Essentially the Boardman of Evans.
I bought a CX bike on Cycle scheme. They were leagues above others on spec.
I was expecting a compromise somewhere but no. It's a great handling bike with a great spec! I suppose if you're a brand snob it's a problem..
Obviously i don't know all the specifics, but 'Jameso' off here is part of the design team (he may even be 'the' design team), and before that he was a significant part of Genesis.
the Ramin 2 is currently £540.
that's astonishing.
I suppose if you're a brand snob it's a problem..
or if you don't like Evans.
i have an arkose 3 2014, which hs been a fab commuter and touring/cx gravel bike 😀
Exactly what stumpy just said with mine. Very tempted to dabble at 29ers with a Ramin, and one of their road bikes got good reviews a year or so back in the CTC mag.
Just seem sensible practical designs with good value kit hung on them.
