Hello all,
Currently in a bit of bother with my Rockshox Pike 351 originally from a 2009 Specialized Pitch Pro.
Basically the 20mm maxle is stuck and therefore I cannot get the front wheel off. Through my own efforts, I believe that the maxle has come off the threads at the non-handle end as it normally would to remove it, however now the maxle just turns either way but won't come out. This makes the bike pretty much unridable.
I've already taken it to my LBS and they couldnt get it out either. Their mechanic suggested that I cut through the maxle both sides to get the wheel out and then buy a new maxle.
Im not a big fan of the cutting suggestion as it means I would have to source a new maxle and hub spacers for the specialised stout hub which seem impossible to find.
Does anyone have any ideas how I can extract this maxle from the hub? Trying to save myself from buying a new wheel and fork!!
Is this any help?

Yeah had a read through that before. Tried the things they have suggested to no prevail.
It seems to me that the actual bearings are stuck to the maxle and hub spaces seem to turn freely. I have got it to budge a bit but seems just to be shifting all the seals in the hub (you can now see the bearings - see picture)
