Any experience with these? Are they an improvement on revs.
The Revs use the old, open bath Motion Control damper whereas the Pike Select uses the old Charger v1 damper (Select+ and Ultimate both have the latest Charger v2.1).
So, yes, they should be an improvement.
The Pike select is the Revelation Charger RC from last year, with the newer oil and different graphics. It uses the spring backed IFP version of the charger damper which was released in 2018 (rather than a bladder one like the 1.0/2.0/2.1) which is AFAIK only used on the Select forks for 2020.
Whether they are a significant improvement on Revs would depend on which Revs you had therefore.
This was helpful to explain upgrade paths available on RS forks,
(if you don’t mind someone shouting at you for a few minutes).
To piggyback this thread a little - which Charger kit would turn a 2020 Select 29er into an Ultimate RC2?

I've got a 2019 Rev with a Debonair spring and a Charger RC damper.
Am i right in thinking the upgrade path is a new Charger 2.1 damper. Then the fork has the same internals as a higher end Pike and the only difference is the crown?

Good value if anyone’s looking to upgrade an older Pike or Revelation but not quite to 2.1 level.
The sportpursuit damper is the 2019 top level damper, not the current Select one.
I had the Pike Ultimate on my Solaris Max for a few rides before they developed a fault and were returned. I couldn’t get another set for a decent price so got a set of Pike Select instead.
A few rides in and I honestly can’t tell the difference between the two forks.
That might say more about my riding ability than anything else though!
