As above really, is one better than the other
RCT3 is what you want if you can. The RC has a simpler compression damper with less adjustment.
I'm pretty sure it's the same charger damper, the RCT3 has three low speed preset settings - open, medium and high. With a separate open mode, low speed compression adjust for fine tuning.
The RC just has the compression dial, so basically the open mode with a full compression adjust all the way to high, just not quite as fine tuning.
99% of people just use the open mode with the compression dial set to something like 4 or 5.
You can achieve the same with the RC, by setting the dial to 4 or 5.
^^^ Is my understanding as well. I have had RCT3 Pikes for 2+ years and never used the threshold adjuster. I'm sure some people might find it useful, but I'd personally be quite happy with RCs.
I wish i could find some RC's around at 150mm.
My budget is so tight to keep me riding and i really don't want to drop down to 32mm stanchions.
Buy some Yaris?
