Spent 6 years up there at Uni in the mid-90s doing some good riding up Winter Hill and Rivington, haven't got any photos though!

I seem to remember an extremely rocky & mental downhill into Rivington. I don't think i ever managed to get down without at least one impact puncture!

Is that bikeshop still open down in the redlight area? I can't remember the name, but it was a bloody good shop, but some of the ladies outside were a bit scary!!

I'd quite like a trip back up there for some riding if there are any locals who know their way round and wouldn't mind an interloper joining them.... 😀
